Our hearts are heavy.
On April 17th, our beloved father, husband, brother and uncle passed away. I know I share the sorrow of our entire family when I say that he is so deeply missed. Uncle Battlestar was a terrific hugger. He would squeeze me like his life depended on it and then say, "I love you darlin'." I'll miss that most of all. Despite all of the pain and sadness, it was such a wonderful feeling to be with the entire clan for Chris's memorial service. We lost our lead man, but I have a feeling the Gaffneys will keep making music.

Greg Gaffney is Graduating!
On May 29th, Greg is graduating with a degree in education from Cal State Long Beach. After five long years, a zillion papers and presentations, hours of student teaching and a incredibly arduous course in bowling, Greg is done, finito. And not a moment too soon. He can't wait to set up shop with his fiancee, Michelle aka Skippy and get to the dirty business of teaching California's youth. If you would like to attend the festivities, his ceremony is at 5pm at CSULB followed by dinner at Bono's in Belmont Shore at 8pm.
